Seder, schmeder!

The old Passover train keeps rumbling through The Zakia's station. Last night we were at the Out-Laws for the first night. I thought that it would be "profoundly" moving since it was my first Seder since I converted, but it was nothing quite so exciting. Although we were treated to the marvellousness of Mr Zakia's mother crazily singing some of the Pesach hits. Splendid, almost enough to make you want to pull your ears off.

So, there I was thinking that tonight the Mr Zakia and I could have a nice quiet night in, no noshing of the maror and matzah. But lo, what happens? We get invited to a second night Seder at the house of one of his old university friends. Oy vey as they say. I mentioned to the Mr Zakia that I was excited to be invited, but I was a little apprehensive as they are more frum than we are. His response, 'don't worry be Jewish'. Useful. Still, it'll give me something write about hopefully not to mention tell people about at our fourth night Seder on Saturday with my Jew School friends....
